Her Story

From Serrekunda to Washington — a career spent inside the systems that serve people

Dr. Jobe’s path runs from a women’s health clinic in The Gambia, through graduate study in Colorado, to the front lines of U.S. federal disaster finance — and, in 2022, to founding JobeLeigh Enterprises.

Two capitals, one journey — the Arch 22 monument in Banjul, The Gambia, dissolving into the U.S. Capitol and Washington Monument in Washington, DC

This is personal.

I built JobeLeigh Enterprises LLC because I have spent my career inside the systems that are supposed to serve people — disaster finance at FEMA, grants management in higher education, Global Fund work with women in The Gambia — and I know how much better they can work when the money is managed well, the governance is strong, and the decisions are driven by data.

JobeLeigh is how I bring that work to more organizations: helping public institutions strengthen their financial stewardship, use their resources wisely, and deliver for the communities counting on them.

This is the work I was meant to do. And I’m just getting started.
